4 Ways to Get More Reviews
When a future lead is on the fence about your insurance agency, fresh new reviews could be the incentive that pulls them over. First, you have to accept the fact that you’re going to have to ask clients to review your agency. Reviews come naturally but not always often. If you’re not getting at least one new review a month, you need to start asking your clients. Don’t worry, asking for a review is not begging. Here’s how to get those new reviews.
Say Thank You
Check up on previous clients to ask how they are doing and thank them for their business. This can be done in person, over the phone, or online. Sending a personal email that is not automated makes the receiver feel more inclined to respond back. You want your client to feel like more than just a name on a spreadsheet by building a relationship with them and your agency that the client would want their friends and family to experience as well. You can send a letter through the mail or email; however, email may work better since you can attach a direct link to where you’d like the review posted.
Offering a discount or a gift card to clients for feedback is a popular marketing technique, but it isn’t always necessary. If your agency isn’t able to offer an incentive, perhaps you could send out company freebies such as a stress ball or a USB drive. This can be done by having an online form that the client fills out or by having the client email your company proof of leaving a review with the assurance that they will receive something in return.
Specify the Review Location
When asking a client for a review, you must be specific. There are many places online where people can leave a review. Make sure your website has a section that allows users to write a review. Be sure to include a link to each website where you would like them to leave a review.
